Limited edition: rare lithographs by Degas, Malevich, Shagal, Dali and Kandinsky will be put up for sale in Kyiv

February 27 in the auction house "Golden Section" (Kiev, Pervomayskogo str., 4) open auction of the art of EDITIONS will be held, in which the organizer - the auction house "Golden Section" will put up for sale the lithographs of Salvador Dali, Kazimir Malevich, Wassily Kandinsky, Mark Shagal , Pablo Picasso, Edgar Degas, Georges Braque, Roy Lichtenstein, Mark Kostabi and other visual art geniuses.

A week before the auction, February 20-26, the pre-auction exhibition EDITIONS will take place, where everyone who wants to buy works can make a bid during a quiet auction and compete with other applicants for lithography, or simply admire the works of great artists.

Entrance to the exhibition is free.

This time, the specialists of the Golden Section visited several world cultural capitals - Amsterdam, Brussels, Vienna, London, Paris, Antwerp - and brought over 20 lithographs and other drawing techniques by foreign authors of world renown.

The collection also includes more than 30 works of Ukrainian artists. Among them are the works of Nikolai Gluschenko, Sergei Geta, Mikhail Deregus, Sergei Yakutovich, Leopold Levitsky, Anatoly Krivolap, Tiberius Silvashi and other masters.

In the present meeting, attention should be paid to the color lithography by Kazimir Malevich “The Peasant in the Field”, as well as to the rare lithographic diptych by Salvador Dali “The Dream of Venus”.

In addition, pay attention to one of the five original woodcuts by Wassily Kandinsky “Abstract Composition”, published in the famous French fiction magazine XXe Siecle in 1939 and the rare lithograph “Agora-1” by Joan Miró of 1971. No less interesting to the viewer will be the color lithograph by Marc Chagall "Green Acrobat" of 1979 and the limited lithograph "Optical Composition", 1970s. the founder of the style of Op-art - Victor Vazareli.

“Bidding rare works of replicable art has always attracted increased interest from both collectors and fans of world art. The average level of auction sales often exceeds 50%, and the gallery is filled from morning to evening with visitors during the pre-auction exhibition.
