Vasyl Vasylyovych KRYCHEVSKY (1901-1978) - Ukrainian painter, graphic artist. Worked in the field of portrait, landscape, book illustration. Born in Kharkiv. Son of V. Krichevsky, nephew F. Krichevsky. Graduated from KHI (1923), where he studied at his father. He worked at the Odessa and Kyiv Film Studios, produced 16 films, including "Earth" by O. Dovzhenko. Subsequently he was fond of easel painting. Since 1949 he has lived and worked in the USA.
