Tchehodar Vasyl (1918-1989) - Ukrainian painter, master of landscape and still life. Born in Krasnyi Yar, Odessa region. He graduated from the Perm Art School (1939). He studied at Kyiv Institute of Art (S. Grigoriev, F. Mikheev, Ye Shuya). A member of the Artists' Union of USSR. Honored Artist of Ukraine (1982). He lived and worked in Kyiv. Works of the artist are in private collections in Ukraine, Russia and Europe.
