From March 15 to March 17, 2013, in the premises of the CCA "M17" will be held an exhibition and sale of works of classical and contemporary art of a new format - "THREE DAYS SALE". As the name suggests, the exhibition sale will last only 3 days. The exhibition collection will simultaneously represent 2 departments of the house: Classical art and Contemporary art (Contemporary contemporary art).

The exhibition-sale is open from 11.00-20.00 at the address: Kiev, st. Antonovich, 102-104, Center for Contemporary Art "M17". In the exhibition hall, specialists of AD "Golden Section" will help those who wish to select and advise on all issues related to the exhibited works.

The block "Classical Art" at the forthcoming exhibition and sale will include about 80 collectible works, among which the collectors will see paintings by outstanding Ukrainian, Russian and Western European artists of the 19th-21st centuries.

Traditionally, the collection in this segment will consist of several blocks: Classical art of the XIX - early. XX century, classical art of the Soviet and modern periods, unofficial art of the XX century (avant-garde, underground, non-conformism) and European art of the XIX-XX centuries.

Truly collectible works of the exhibition are the works: the rarest early painting by the Ukrainian impressionist Peter Nilus "Memories of the Motherland", written in Paris in 1925, "Winter Landscape" by the Russian classic Konstantin Kryzhitsky, "In the Studio" by the Ukrainian classic Sergei Svetoslavsky. Also here will be presented at once three works of the master of the Russian avant-garde David Burliuk, diverse in genre and periods.

Among the reference works of the classics of Ukrainian painting will be the works of Mykola Glushchenko, Viktor Zaretsky, Joseph Bokshay, Adalbert Erdeli, Fedor Manaylo, Vasily Chegodar and other no less eminent masters of the mid-twentieth century.

We divided the “Contemporary art” block into three time periods.

1980s, represented by such names as Alexander Roitburd "Self-portrait" in 1984, written a year after graduating from the Odessa Pedagogical Institute. This work has both historical and artistic value, as it is the earliest "self-portrait" that has survived to this day.

Sergey Zhivotkov "Still life with a plaster head" 1988. A very rare work by Dmitry Fishchenko "Fars-farsh-perestroika", 1989. Collectible painting by Valentin Raevsky "Nikitzebus kukang", this work is considered to be the highlight of the exhibition.

The 1990s are represented by such names as Vasily Tsagolov - Photo "Rhythmic Gymnastics", 1997, Valery Trubina "Found Paradise", Marko Geiko - a large triptych "State 1-2-3". The most expensive modern Ukrainian artist Anatoly Kryvolap is represented by two works of the 1990s. - “Act” and “Evening Kyiv”, the program work of Alexander Zhivotkov “Continuation. Composition No. 5".

The 2000s are represented by such artists as Alexander Gnilitsky "Self-portrait in the dome", Dmitry Kavsan "Sea food in opera", Ilya Isupov "Rrodina"
