Exhibition and sale of works of art "THREE DAYS SALE" from the Auction House "Golden Section".

From September 27 to September 29, 2013, in the premises of the CCA "M17" will be an exhibition and sale of works of classical and contemporary art format "THREE DAYS SALE" (3 days of sales). As the name suggests, the exhibition sale will last only 3 days. The exhibition collection will simultaneously represent 2 main departments of the house: Classical art and Contemporary art (Contemporary contemporary art).

The block "Classical Art" at the upcoming exhibition and sale will include about 130 collectible works, among which the collectors will see paintings by outstanding Ukrainian, Russian and Western European artists of the 19th-21st centuries.

Traditionally, the collection in this segment will consist of several blocks: European, Russian and Ukrainian classical art of the XIX - early. XX century, art of the Soviet and modern periods, unofficial art of the XX century (avant-garde, underground, non-conformism).

European classical art will be presented at the exhibition-sale with six works, among which are world-famous names - the Dutchman of the 17th century - Claes Molenar and the Italian Francesco Guardi, whose works are the decorations of many museums around the world.

Among the names of Russian and Ukrainian classics of the XIX - early. of the twentieth century, such as: Academician of the Imperial Academy of Arts A.Popov, I.Schultze, E.Vzheshch, A.Gaush, V.Murzanov, Ukrainian impressionists I.Trush and N.Burachek, emigrant artists B.Pastukhov, V.Khmelyuk, and others.

A strong collection of paintings will be in the block of the Soviet period, where excellent works by N. Glushchenko, S. Shishko, V. Zaretsky, A. Shovkunenko, I. Bokshay, A. Erdeli, A. Kotsky, V. Chegodar and many other Ukrainian authors will be presented .

Block "Contemporary art" will once again present a new collection of works by contemporary artists of Ukraine, which will include about 30 works of art of the last three decades.

Of great interest is the turn of the 1980-90s, these are rare and collectible works by such masters as Alexander Roitburd, Sergey Panich, Dmitry Kavsan, Les Podervyansky. Especially collectible is the work of Alexander Zhivotkov from the “Windows” series, all the works from this series have long settled in private collections.

By the mid-2000s, two works by the most expensive contemporary Ukrainian artist Anatoly Krivolap, Landscape with Cows and Mountains, Oleg Tistol’s work Manchurian from the K.N.R. series, can be attributed. as well as two works by Oksana Mas from different series.

It is also impossible not to mention the well-known and scandalously oppositional Moscow artist Alexander Savko with his new work "Night Watch", for the first time exhibited to the viewer on this project.

The most expensive work of the modern block at the THREE DAYS SALE exhibition and sale will be the work of the world-famous British artist Damien Hirst. Titled "Spin Painting" by Hirst's studio will be up for sale for $60,000.

A special catalog of works will be published for the exhibition, executed in the format and corporate style “THREE DAYS SALE”.
