Viktor Trubchaninov (born 1949) is a Ukrainian artist, graphic artist. He was born in Horlivka, Donetsk region. Graduated from Kyiv State Art Institute (1974). Permanent participant of Republican and All-Union exhibitions (since 1982). Participant of the Triennial of Ukrainian Graphics (1997, 2006). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (since 1984). Personal exhibitions were held in the Rube Municipal Gallery in France (1997), in Chernihiv (1998), the Mimi Ferzt Gallery in New York (1998), where in 2000 the joint project of Trubchaninov and Arsen Savadov took place. Honored Artist of Ukraine (since 2009). A bright representative of Ukrainian postmodernism. The author of numerous graphic series. The works are kept in the National Art Museum of Ukraine, in Chernihiv, Kursk Art Museum, Arnot Art Museum (New York) and private collections of Ukraine, France, Italy, Germany and the USA, in particular in the collections of Pierce Brosnan and Prince of Belgium Charles Antoine de Lin. The artist's paintings were used in the filming of the Hollywood film "The Thomas Crown Affair". Lives and works in Chernihiv and Paris.
