Kushnir Veniamin (1926-1992) - Ukrainian artist, public figure. He was born in the village of Rudka, Khmelnytsky region He graduated from the Faculty of Monumental and Decorative Painting at the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts in the workshops of R. Selsky, J. Bokshay, and I. Gutorov (1948-1953). He taught at the Dnepropetrovsk Art School (1953-1955). Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1954). He moved to Kyiv (1956). One of the founders and a member of the Club of Creative Youth "Contemporary" (1962). He was friends with O. Zalyvakha, A. Horska, and G. Sevruk. He lived and worked in Kyiv.
