Biography of the author

Plaksiy Boris (1937-2012) - muralist. Born in Smela, Cherkasy region. He studied at the Dnepropetrovsk Art College. He graduated from Kyiv Art Institute. At one time one of the most famous muralist of Ukraine (1960-1970-s). For anti-Soviet propaganda pursued and was deprived of many opportunities for creative development as an artist. Honored Artist of Ukraine. The winner of the Shevchenko National Prize (2007).
