Mykola Novikov (1935-1996) - Ukrainian artist, representative of non-conformism. Born in Moscow. He studied intermittently at the Odessa Art School (1961). Participant in numerous informal, room, group and solo exhibitions (1960). Artist's works are kept in National Art Museum of Ukraine (Kyiv), Museum of Modern Art in Odessa and private collections in Ukraine, Russia and Europe. He lived and worked in Odessa.
