Vadim Petrov (b. 1960) - Ukrainian painter. Born in Shostka, Sumy region. Graduated Kharkiv Art College (1975-1979) and Kharkov artistic-industrial Institute (1979-1984), where he studied under O. Khmelnytsky, E. Bykov, A. Shcherbakov. Member of Khakiv associations Union of artists of Ukraine(1988). Participant in Republican, All-Ukrainian, All-Union, International and foreign exhibitions (since 1985). Solo exhibitions in Kharkiv (1994, 1997), Kiev (1997). Artist's works are in museums of Ukraine, galleries and private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Hungary, Turkey and others.
