Author Biography
Anatoly Zavgorodny (1929-2009) – graphic artist. Born in Znamyanka. Member of the CPSU. Works in the field of easel painting and graphics, monumental and decorative art. Main works: “Before Putin” (1961); graphic series “Mykolaiv – the city of shipbuilders” (1966-1965); “Mykolaiv – the shipbuilding region” (1966-1967); stele-monument “Olshansky’s Landing” in the Laiv Palace of Happiness (1965-1966), etc. Participates in exhibitions: republican (since 1965), all-Union (since 1966), personal – Mykolaiv (1968). Awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor.
