David Chychkan (1986-2025) is a Ukrainian artist, political activist and anarchist. He was born in Kyiv in the family of artists T. Ilyakhova and I. Chychkan. He had no special art education. He began his artistic practice in the early 2000s. He worked in the areas of poster, graphics, painting, street art and performance. He was a member of the creative group "A.E.". He took part in protest and anarchist movements. He participated in many exhibitions (since 2016). Due to his political works and views, Chychkan's exhibitions were often subjected to attacks, censorship and pogroms. He illustrated the "Administrative Code of Ukraine" (published by "Osnovy", 2018). He died on August 10, 2025 as a result of injuries received in the Zaporizhzhia direction. He lived and worked in Kyiv.
