Basanets Valery (1941 p.) - Ukrainian painter. Graduated Odessa Art School (1963). A teacher by profession - E.Zheltkov . Member of the National Union of Artists (1970). One of founders of the non-conformist art in Odessa. Member of three biennale "Impreza". Member of the famous unofficial exhibition "Contemporary Art from Ukraine", Munich - London - Paris - New York (1979). author's works are in many museums and private collections around the world.
