Vartanyan Gervasya Alekseevich (1927-2018) is an Armenian painter and graphic artist. He graduated from the Yerevan School of Fine Arts (1950) and the Yerevan Institute of Fine Arts and Theater (1956). Active participant in exhibitions (1956). Honored Artist of the Armenian SSR (1987). Master of genre painting. Works in the field of easel and monumental painting. The artist has a realistic style of painting. Vartanyan's multi-genre paintings are characterized by bright colors.
