Author Biography
Bernadsky Valentyn Danilovich (1917-2011) – Ukrainian and Russian painter. Studied at the I. Repin Institute in St. Petersburg (1940-50) under B. Johansson. Master of lyrical landscape. Participant of republican all-Union and international exhibitions. Personal exhibitions in Ukraine, Russia, Britain, Japan, Greece, USA, France. People's Artist of Ukraine and Russia. Laureate of the State Prize of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. One of the founders of the "Crimean" school of painting. The artist's works are kept in museums of the former USSR.
