Ferents Seman (1937-2004) - Ukrainian and Hungarian painter, avant-garde master of still life and the psychological portrait. He studied at the Uzhgorod Art School (1953-1958) and Tallinn Art Institute (1958-1960). One of the most talented students of F. A. Erdelyi and F. Manailo. Communicated with Serhii Parajanov. At the invitation of T. Yablonska was in the creative team that worked in Sedniv (1960). He belonged to the artistic "Sixties" underground. Had the first solo exhibition in 1990. lived and worked in Uzhhorod.
