Gerasymenko Serhii Hryhorovych (1956-2023) A monumentalist painter. He spent his childhood in Ukraine, in Poltava region. He studied at the art school in Poltava (1968-1972), then at the Kharkiv State Art School, Lvov State Art School named after Mukhina, Department of Monumental and Decorative Painting (1986). He is a regular participant in exhibitions and vernissages in St. Petersburg and the neighbouring countries. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. The works are kept in private collections in St. Petersburg, Paris, Houston, Riga, Tokyo, Potsdam, Hamburg, Washington and other cities of the world.
