Alexei Apollonov was born in 1962 in Kiev. He graduated from the Ukrainian Academy of Arts (1986). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Takes an active part in group exhibitions (since 1993). Holds solo exhibitions (1997). Works are in the Kiev Museum of Russian Art, Art Museum of Zaporozhye, Karas Gallery, Gallery "Triptych", Gallery «RA». Lives and works in Kiev.
