Grigory Gavrilenko (1927-1984) - Ukrainian painter, graphic artist, master of book illustration. Representative of the Ukrainian avant-garde art of sixties. Born in Holopkove village, Sumy region. He graduated from Kyiv State Institute (1955). Participant union and republican exhibitions of books, drawings, watercolors, painting (from 1955). In his later years worked in technique of colored linocut. He died in Kyiv.
