Author Biography
Makhno Serhiy (born 1981) is an architect, designer, ceramist, and collector of modern Ukrainian art. Born in Kyiv. Graduated from Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture (2004). He is fond of Ukrainian ceramics, modern art, Japan and the wabi-sabi philosophy. Founder of Sergey Makhno Architects, which specializes in interior design, creation of private architectural objects and subject design; the Kyiv Studio of Ukrainian Design, Architecture and Ceramics MAKHNO (2003); object design gallery Sergey Makhno Gallery (2016-2019). Currently, he is working on the project of a private House-Museum of Modern Ukrainian Art near Kyiv and the founding of the creative association Makhno Art Foundation. For 18 years, Serhiy and his team have been devoting their work to the glorification of modern Ukrainian style on the world stage.

The main idea of this floor lamp is the joy of waking up after a long winter. Its main symbols: light and spring birds, will bring positive energy and harmony to any interior. The peculiarity of this floor lamp is that it can change its appearance. A little trick is possible thanks to the "movable" components. Flying birds can be swapped by moving them up or down.
