Author Biography

Zhyvotkov Alexander (b. 1964) - Ukrainian painter. Born in Kyiv. He graduated from Republican Art School of Shevchenko (1975-1982); Kyiv State Art Institute (1981-1988). 34 solo exhibitions in Ukraine (since 1988). Participation in the group of 60 projects in Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Slovakia, UK, France, Finland, Germany and Austria. Regular participant at international auctions - Sotheby's, Christie's, Phillips. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine (1989). A member of "Painting reserve" (1992). His works in museums of Kyiv, Khmelnitsky, Sumy, Russia, USA, Austria; in private collections and galleries in Europe, America, Asia and Africa. He lives and works in Kyiv.
