Author Biography
Viktor Hryhorov (1939-2002) was a Ukrainian painter. Born in the village Semenivka, Melitopol district, Zaporizhzhia region. Graduated from the painting department of the Simferopol Art School (1961); department of monumental painting of the Kyiv State Art Institute (1967). Hryhorov`s works were exhibited in museums and galleries in Ukraine, Sweden, Austria, the Czech Republic, Yugoslavia, Italy, Scotland, Germany, France, etc. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Viktor Hryhorov is called the Ukrainian Modigliani.
