Author Biography
Fyodor Zakharov (1919-1994) - Ukrainian painter, master of landscape and still life. Born in Oleksandrovskie, Smolensk. He studied in Moscow Art Institute (1943-1950) in A. Lentulov studio. He lived in Simferopol (1950-1953), taught at local Art School (1950-1951) and Yalta (1953). Honored Artist of the Ukraine (1970). People's Artist of Ukraine (1978). He was awarded the Order "Badge of Honor", Diploma of Presidium of the Supreme Soviet. He lived and worked in Yalta.
