Sojka Bogdan (b. 1938) - Ukrainian painter, muralist. Born in Yaniv, Lviv region. He studied in Lviv College of Applied and Decorative Arts (1955-1958) at the department of painting; Lviv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1958-1964) at the Faculty of monumental and decorative painting. Teachers were: R. Selsky, V. Manastyrskyy, K. Zvirynskyy D. Dovboshynskyy. He was a student of Karl Zvirynskoho, with S. Flint, A. Bokotey A. Minko, L. Medved, R. Petruk, Ivan Marchuk, which was called "underground academy" or "spiritual school" Zvirynskoho. After graduation he worked in a plant shop monumental Art Fund of the USSR (1964-1998). He created a number of significant works. Member of Ukrainian National Union of Artists (1992). He teaches drawing and painting at the Art and Vocational School №14 in Ivano-Frankovsk (since 1998). Participated in many art exhibitions (since 1968). Portrait of Solomiya Krushelnytska his authorship decorated exhibition Memorial Museum (Lviv).
