Author Biography
Verbitsky Alexander (1875-1958) - architect, engineer, teacher, professor, painter and graphic artist. Born in Sevastopol. He graduated from Sevastopol High School (1892); Petersburg Institute of Civil Engineers (1898). During studies awarded two gold and one silver medals. Name the artist put into the honorary board of the best graduates. He worked in the Office of the South-Western Railway Track service architect, and then the chief architect (1901-1933). Member of the Academy of Architecture (1945), honorary member of the Academy of Construction and Architecture of Ukrainian (1958).
