Antip Petro (born 1959) - sculptor, painter, graphic artist, writer, Honored Artist of Ukraine (2009). Member of the NAU (1989). He studied at the Penza Art School. Academician Savitsky at the Department of Sculpture (1980 -1984). In parallel he studied painting and graphics. From 1986 he worked as a sculptor at the Donetsk Art Factory. Antip is one of the founders of the Vostok-Art Gallery in his hometown of Horlivka (1989) of the 13 Gallery in Donetsk (2007). Initiator and co-organizer of three international symposiums on stone sculpture: in Horlivka (1989), Donetsk (2006) and Sviatohirsk (2007). Honored Artist of Ukraine (2009). Peter Antip's works are in museums, galleries and private collections in Ukraine, Russia, France, Germany, Italy and Sweden. The masters' paintings were purchased by the Union of Artists of the USSR and the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine. Five documentaries have been made about the artist's work and his works are included in the following publications: the catalog "View. The Unity of 100 Ukrainian Artists of the World - the 100th Anniversary of Ukrainian Settlements in Canada ”(1995); album "Art of Ukraine of the twentieth century" (2000); Encyclopedia of Modern Ukraine (2001); History of Ukrainian Art ", vol. 5 (2007); etc. Lives and works in Kyiv.
