Andruschenko Nicholai (b. 1935) - Ukrainian painter. Born in Krivoy Rog. He graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Art College (1956) studying under M. Pogrebnyak, A. Cuco; Lviv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1958-1964) under R. Selskiy, D. Dovboshinskiy. Gives lessons on drawing, painting, working in the studio, and composition of monumental painting in department of the Lviv National Academy of Arts (1991), Professor (2000). People's Artist of Ukraine (2000). Lives and works in Lviv. On the 70th anniversary of the artist (2005) the Lviv Art Gallery held a solo exhibition of his commemorative works. Colorfulness, dynamics, clarity are the characteristic features of his painting.
