Author Biography
Lutskevich Yuriy Pavlovich (1934-2002) - Ukrainian painter. Born in Kirovograd. Graduated from Kyiv Art High School named after. T. Shevchenko (1953) with a gold medal. Graduated from KHI (1959), where he studied at G. Melikhov, V. Puzirkov and S. Grigoriev; Creative workshops at the USSR Academy of Sciences (1965) in the workshop of M. Deregus. Member of the USSR Soviet Union (1966). He taught painting and painting at the Kyiv School of Applied Art and Drawing (1959-1962). Participated in regional, republican, all-union and personal art exhibitions (since 1959). During his life he became a recognized leader of the Ukrainian Neobarovka. The works of the master are stored in museums, galleries and private collections of Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Poland, Croatia, England, France, Denmark, the USA and other countries.
