Author Biography
Anatoly Kryvolap (born 1946) is a Ukrainian painter, a master of non-figurative painting and landscape. He graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute, Faculty of Painting (1976). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1990). Laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine (2012). Full member of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine (2021). Awarded the Gold Medal of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine for Outstanding Contribution to Ukrainian Fine Arts (2025). Awarded by the National Union of Artists of Ukraine for Significant Contribution to the Development of Ukrainian Art (2024). Laureate of the National Legend of Ukraine Award (2025). Since 2010, he has headed the rating of the most expensive Ukrainian artists at international auctions Phillips, Sotheby’s, Bonhams, and Christie’s.
