Author Biography
Serhii Sabakar (born 1982) is a Ukrainian artist. He was born in Sumy. He graduated from the Sumy Higher School of Art and Culture named after D. Bortnyanskyi; NAOMA (2007), free graphics workshop. Assistant trainee of NAOMA (since 2007). Winner of competitions: for academic drawing (Kharkiv, 2005), "Drawing of an academic performance" (Kyiv, 2006, 2007), incentive prize of the All-Ukrainian Triennial of Graphics (Kyiv, 2009). Lives and works in Kyiv.

Works from the series of drawings "Scenario of change of protest".

The author creates a certain image of protest through the study of documentary photographs and video images of protest movements circulating in the space of media networks. In particular, he uses the means of quick drawing, and investigates the role of such an image in the formation of perception.
