Biography
Isak Tartakovskyi (1912-2002) is a Ukrainian painter, graphic artist. He was born in the village of Volochyske. He graduated from KHI (1951), where he studied with O. Shovkunenko, T. Yablonska, V. Kostetsky, K. Yeleva, and S. Grigoryev. He participated in numerous republican (since 1949), all-Union (since 1949) and foreign (since 1951) exhibitions. People's Artist of Ukraine. The artist's works are kept in museums of Ukraine and private collections in Europe, Japan and the USA.
