Biography
Paliy Ihor Orestovych (born 1963) is a Ukrainian artist, blacksmith, and designer. He was born in Drohobych. He graduated from Lviv Polytechnic National University (1986), Faculty of Architecture. In 1986 he moved to Sakhalin, Russia, where he became the Chief Artist of the Trade Advertising Combine. In 1992 he moved to Krakow, where he began a new period of his career. Participated in the exhibition of one painting in Krakow (1997). In 2002, Ihor Paliy began a new stage of his work - artistic blacksmithing. Member of UCS and ACS. Active participant in personal and group exhibitions, auctions, projects in Ukraine and abroad (since 1987). Winner of many competitions. The main directions in art: abstractionism, a combination of geometric shapes and realistic figures, which are mostly symbolic. Lives and works in Lviv.
