"Ukrainian collectible art"
From July 5 to 22, the Goldens auction house presents a new exhibition project "Ukrainian collectible art". The organizers have prepared an exhibition that includes 50 collection works from different periods - from the classical art of the first half of the 20th century to modern times. The exhibition combined paintings, graphics and sculpture as a kind of review of Ukrainian collectible art over the past 120 years. Conventionally, the collection can be divided into three main blocks - Ukrainian classical art, works of sixties artists and modern art.
Refined Ukrainian landscapes by Adalbert Erdeli, Mykola Hlushchenko, Roman Selskyi, Viktor Zaretskyi, Ivan Shutev and Serhii Bazilyev, rare works of famous Ukrainian emigrant artists David Burlyuk, Mykola Isayev, Vasyl Khmelyuk, Yakov Shapiro, Mani Mavro, exquisite still lifes by Henrietta Levytska, Yevgeny Gordiets , Volodymyr Patyk, Anatoly Turovsky and Oleksandr Dubovyk, female images of Mykola Pymonenko, Vasyl Khmelyuk, Kostiantyn Lomykin, Opanas Zalivakha, Hryhoriy Havrylenko and Mykhailo Turovsky, the fairy-tale character of Maria Primachenko, Ukrainian symbols in the works of Ivan Marchuk, Elizaveta Kremnytska and Lyubov Panchenko, and recognizable abstractions The works of Ernest Kotkov, Volodymyr Strelnikov, Dmytro Nagurny and Anatoly Kryvolap presented at the exhibition "Ukrainian Collectable Art" are a diverse reflection of the true Ukrainian identity and the skill of recognized Ukrainian masters.
Among other well-known names of the exhibition are Yuriy Khimich, Ada Rybachuk, Lyudmila Semykina, Georgy Malakov, Yuriy Ruban, Yevhen Prokopov, Viktor and Andriy Lypovka, Vinny Reunov, Viktor Sydorenko, Oleksandr Roitburd, Oleksandr Sukholit, Volodymyr Zhuravel, Maksym Myrnov, Maria Skoblikova, Mykhailo Demtsiu, Mykyta Kalchenko and Heorhiy Zaichenko.
Most of the works for the exhibition were collected from private collections in Ukraine, some were provided by the authors or their families.
The organizers of the project note that such collective projects are not frequent phenomena for the Ukrainian art space, because the organization requires long-term preparation, high expertise and the involvement of many collectors. More often, such projects are put up for auction, the duration of which is usually only one week, and the exhibition project "Ukrainian Collectable Art" will last 3 weeks and is open to all viewers and connoisseurs of Ukrainian art.
In order to support the artistic environment, all collectible works from the collection of the exhibition are available for purchase, for detailed information contact the specialists of the Goldens auction house. The organizers will transfer part of the funds collected from the sale of works to the needs of the Armed Forces.
