MEANINGS OF ANSWERS
The 2022 exhibition season of the Golden Section auction house begins with a new project "Sense of Answers" by famous contemporary Ukrainian artists Yuri Koval and Zakentiy Gorobyov. The exhibition will start on Friday, January 14, and will last until February 2, 2022.
The official opening of the exhibition will take place on January 14 at 18:00, where everyone will be able to talk in person with the authors of the project.
For the first time in their work, the artists have come together to create a project whose main idea is to reflect the universe and the answers it provides. The project includes 7 works, including several diptychs and triptychs), made in mixed media (aerosol, acrylic, oil).
About the project:
"Sense of Answers" is a visual expression of the pulsation of the universe, the binary opposition of abstract expression and fragments of a strictly organized figurative. Artists visualize the blinking fragments of reality that are natural for clip thinking of the digital age: free energies fall out of the crystal of condensed photorealism.
If you happen to walk the streets of a modern city, then you have fallen out of the city routine into the space of graffiti. The line and point on the plane of the walls, the expression of color, creates, in combination with everyday life, another dimension.
It is reminiscent of Buddhist baths, secret treasures hidden in antiquity for future generations - people of art play the role of priests, interpreters, custodians and seers in these rational times.
"Don't call what's going on - let him go. Don't wait for the future - let it come "- artists visualize ancient texts, turned through our reality to the future. Art asks questions. Art gives answers. ”- Inga Esterkin, art critic and journalist.
