Author Biography
Naydych Vladimir (1903-1981) - artist, a representative of Prague painting school (École de Paris). Born in a wealthy family. Learn to draw in the school of applied art (Moscow) and first exhibited his paintings in 14 years. Moved to Paris (1920), where he studied at the Lyceum Zhanson and at the Sorbonne. He was a companion of his brother in the company, which allowed him to paint without experiencing financial difficulties. Visits Grand Shom'yer Academy and Académie Colarossi (1927-1929) where he studied with A. Lot. Friends with Russian artists of Montparnasse: Ivan Puni, M. Larionov,K. Tereshkovychem and O. Lubich,L. Volovyk with whom shared a studio. In 1930 came the creative success and recognition. Participated in numerous exhibitions. Visited Cuba (1940), then lived in the United States. Successfully exhibited in New York and Rhode Island.
