Author Biography
Kotska Andrii (1911-1987) - Ukrainian painter. Born in Uzhgorod. He studied at the Uzhgorod Art School (1927-1931) under A. Erdeli and in Rome (1940-1942) under F. Ferratsi. Member of Society of Fine Arts figures in Subcarpathian Rus' (1933). Founding member of the Transcarpathian Union Artists of Ukraine (1946). Teacher. People's Artist of Ukraine (1982). Artist's works are in National Art Museum, Tretyakov Gallery and others. Participant in numerous national, international and personal exhibitions (since 1933). Kotska lived and worked in Uzhhorod.
