Auction house "Zolotoe Sechenie" is pleased to announce its 48th auction of collectible classical and contemporary art "Classic & Contemporary art".
The pre-auction exhibition, together with the start of the online auction, will start its work on May 24. Bids will be accepted in the "silent auction" mode in the auction hall and on the website www.gs-art.com. Art collectors and connoisseurs will be able to see the exhibition during the week, until June 1 inclusive.
Classical and modern art will be represented by both large iconic museum-level works and chamber and rare works of the most famous Ukrainian artists and sculptors.
In the block of classical art there will be works of the first half of the 20th century - Ivan Trush, David Burlyuk, Yakov Shapiro, Oleksa Novakivskyi, Adalbert Erdeli, Yosyp Bokshay, Mykola Hlushchenko, Serhiy Shishko and sixties artists, authors of unofficial art - Viktor Zaretskyi, Alla Gorska, Yakym Levych, Ferenc Seman, Valentin Khrushch, Karl Zvirynskyi, Ivan Marchuk.
Contemporary art will be represented by paintings and graphics from the 1980s-2020s period. Among the top lots are the works of Oleksandr Roitburd, Dmytro Kavsan, Valeria Trubina, Pavel Makov, Oleg Tistol, and Vasyl Bazhai. Among the artists of the "Painting Reserve" are large and interesting works - Anatoly Kryvolap, Tiberii Silvashi, Marko Geik. There is also a very strong collection of young, but already recognized Ukrainian artists - Artem Volokytin, Roman Minin, Mykhailo Deyak, Volodymyr Manzhos (WAONE), Anton Popernyak.
First-class sculptures of Ukrainian authors popular among collectors - Yuriy Ruban, Oleksandr Sukholit, Nazar Bilyk, Oleksiy Zolotaryov, Volodymyr Mykytenko, Viktor Lypovka, etc. will be presented at the auction.

The exhibition and online silent auction will be open - May 24 - June 1, 2021, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m., seven days a week.
