Kharkiv photographer Vladyslav Krasnoshchok's project "War Documentation" is a chronicle of events from the beginning of the full-scale invasion, shot on black and white film. The author documents the stories of soldiers and volunteers and the destroyed cities to preserve these testimonies. At first, he filmed the events in Kharkiv, then traveled to Kyiv, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions and continues to document wherever he can get access.

"I did not perceive this work as a separate project, I just organically documented the events around me. At first, he set himself small tasks: to photograph the city, to record all the consequences of shelling. When I look at these destructions and realize that I have more or less filled the "niche" already, I move to the next "niche" - for example, the military and their stories. I realized that it is necessary to divide the documentation of the war into smaller topics and fill them in order to create a coherent image, the whole story in general. It is difficult to assemble such a puzzle, because there is no access to certain topics. But I already have a certain layer of history on film and some printed photos."

12 works from this series by Vladyslav Krasnoshchok were donated to the collection of the World Bank. His works were also presented this year at the famous photography fair Paris Photo.
