Author Biography
Oleg Sokolov (1919-1990) - Ukrainian painter, graphic artist, nonconformist. Born in Odessa. He studied at Odessa Art School (1935-1939). Participant Second World War. He entered to Lviv Institute of Decorative and Applied Art (1947). A year later he returned and finished Odessa Art School (1951). He worked as a researcher in Odessa Museum of Western and Oriental Art (1955-1990). One of the most talented graphic artist Ukraine. Founder of Odessa nonconformity movement in art.
