Author Biography
Ilku Marion (1933-2003) is a Ukrainian painter and graphic artist. Born in Uzhhorod. He graduated from Uzhgorod School of Applied Arts (1952), where he studied with J. Boksay, A. Erdeli, A. Kotsky and F. Manila; Lviv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1958), where its teachers were R. Selsky and D. Dovboshinsky. He has participated in exhibitions - republican, all-union and foreign (since 1960). He taught at the Lviv Academy of Arts. One of the founders and the first chairman of the Hungarian Culture Society (1989). He lived and worked in Lviv.
