Author Biography
Tamara DE LEMPICKA (1898-1980) - Polish and American artist. Born in the city. Warsaw, Poland. The heroine secular chronicles party creative bohemian parties, "the Baroness with a brush" and the artist favorite Hollywood stars and aristocrats. In 1914 he moved to the city. St. Petersburg, and after 1917 with her husband escaped to France where he began career. She took lessons from famous French painters - Lot A. and M. Denis. Works of the artist combines art deco and cubism, classicism Florentine man'eristov and Ingres. Cmilyvyy artistic handwriting developed quickly and was inspired by the fact that Andre Lot called "soft cubism" or, according to Maurice Denis, "synthetic cubism". Style Lempytskoyi was the epitome of cool, but very sensual by Art Deco. Moved to the US (1930), where she married Baron Raoul Kufnera and settled in New York. Works of the artist are kept in museums and private collections around the world.
