Pregel Alexandra (Alexandra Pregel) (1907-1984) - Russian artist, painter, graphic artist, illustrator. Master of still life and subject compositions. She entered the school-studio V. Shukhaev and A. Yakovlev (1921), graduated from the Higher National School of Decorative Arts (1927), took painting lessons at N. Goncharova, was her beloved apprentice. Participated in the first group exhibition of young Parisian artists (1932). Participated in the salons of the Independents (1936-1939), Autumn (1938). In different periods of his life, Pope posed for portraits of L. Bakst, D. Rivera (1915-1916), S. Chekhonin (1929), M. Larionov (1948), and others. He traveled to the United States in New York (1940), where he held a number of personal exhibitions of the artist (1943-1950). Illustrated "The Word about the Regiment Igor" in the translation of R. Jacobson (1948), the book M. Tsetlin "Five and others" (1953); He became the author of covers of magazines Novoslyla, Probi, and others.
