Biography
Reunov Valentin (1939-2007) - Ukrainian painter, restorer and collector. Born in Kyiv. He graduated from Kiev Art School (1960); Kyiv Institute of Art (1966), where he studied under Karl Trokhymenko, V.Zabashta, Vyrodova-Gauthier. Participant of regional, national and international exhibitions (1968). Medal of Exhibition of Economic Achievements (1970). He worked in a circle of associates -V. Ryzhykh, M. Weinstein, I. Grigoriev, S. Lyerman, Y. Lutskevich. Member of the National Union of Artists (1972). First Prize Cultural Foundation for Still Life (1996). Ryeunov works exhibited around the world in solo and group exhibitions. Kept in museums of Ukraine, in particular - in the State Tretyakov Gallery and private collections in USA, UK, Switzerland, Germany, Italy and Canada. In the still lifes evident link with European Baroque style.
