Biography
Sviatchenko Serhii (born in 1952) - Ukrainain and Danish artist, architect, media artist, painter, master of collage, video installation and photo montage, photographer. Born in Kharkiv. Graduated from the Kharkiv institute of engineering and construction, architecture faculty (1975) under V. Antonov, Y. Kravets. Obtained postgraduate degree from the Kyiv institute of engineering and construction, thesis «Means of visual information in architecture». One of the founders of Centre of modern art «Soviart» in Kyiv and one of the organizers of first Ukrainian exhibitions of modern art. Represents «The New Ukrainian current» in art. Lives and works in Denmark (since 1990).
