Author Biography
Vladimir Vlasov (1927-2000) - Ukrainian painter. Born in Odessa. Graduated from Odessa Art School, where he studied under L.Muchnyka, N.Pavlyuk (1947), Moscow Art Institute where he studied under D.Mochalskoho. Particular influence on work of master artist made, honored Artist of the USSR M.Shelyuto. Author thematic paintings, genre works, portraits and still life. Honored Artist of Ukraine (1972). Permanent exhibitor republican, union and international exhibitions (since 1953).
