Victor Sidorenko (born 1953) is a Ukrainian painter, author of installations, photo and video projects, and art theorist. He was born in Taldy-Kurgan (Kazakhstan). He graduated from the Kharkiv Art and Industrial Institute (1979). People's Artist of Ukraine. Vice-President of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine. Director of the Institute of Contemporary Art of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine. Curator and author of the Ukrainian project of the 50th Venice Biennale. Participant of numerous group and personal exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. Lives and works in Kyiv.
