Korovai Oleksandr Nikolaevich (1928-2011) - Ukrainian artist, painter. Born in Vinnytsia region. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Lives and works in Ivano-Frankivsk. Oleksandr Korovai was friends with Sergei Paradzhanov, Alla Gorskaya, and Afanas Zalyvakha. Ivano-Frankivsk priests presented the artist with a cross for his creativity and civic position. In his works, tenderness and extravagance are intertwined, temptation and modesty. The author's works are in museums of Ukraine and private collections in Europe.
