Author Biography
Ovchinnikova Olena Vasilivna (born 1935) - Ukrainian artist, graphic artist. He studied at the KHI with V. Kasian, O. Paschenko (1954-1964). Member of the SSU (1965). She taught a picture in the KHI (1969-1980). Illustrated works by Ukrainian writers. Daughter of the famous Ukrainian artist and museum V. Ovchinnikov. Honored Artist of Ukraine (1990). Professor. In the 1990s he emigrated to the United States. Lives and works in Pittsburgh. The works are stored in the NHMU, Khmelnytskyi Vinnitsa, Dnipropetrovsk, Odessa, Zaporozhye, Mykolayiv, and private collections of Ukraine and the United States.
