Author Biography
Aksynin Alexander (1949-1985) - Ukrainian graphic artist, one of the most famous representatives of Lviv nonconformity. Born in Lviv.. Graduated from the Ukrainian polygraphic institute. Fedorov (1972). He participated in numerous exhibitions (1974). He organized several "apartment" exhibitions in Leningrad (1980). Honorary gold medals at exhibitions "Small graphic forms" in Lodz (Poland, 1979, 1985). During his short life has created more than 500 works. He worked primarily in the technique of etching (with Sir. 1970). With the unique graphic talent Aksynina called "Lviv Durer". Art historian D. Shelest considered it the best schedule of the twentieth century. His works are kept in the Lviv National Gallery of Art, Art Museum of Estonia, in many private collections.
