Author Biography
Maurice de Vlaminck (1876-1958) is a well-known French painter, postmodernist, draftsman and graphic artist, founder of expressionism in the context of fairy tales, writer. Maurice was born in Paris, a family of Flemish migrants. Even in childhood he learned the musical instrument, learned to play the violin. After graduating from school, Maurice decided to engage in a sports career and became a cyclist. However, later he left the bike sport. To earn a living, played in the Gypsy orchestra, gave music lessons, and in 1898-1899 he tried his forces in journalism. Painting Vlamink begins to engage in 1893. He did not receive special education. Later he took drawing lessons from the masters of Henri Regal and Robishon. Many of Vlomanka's paintings were purchased by march Ambroise Vollar, a well-known Frenchman, owner of the art gallery, and Volar organized the first personal exhibition of the artist (1907). Participant in the World Exposition in Paris (1937), the Biennale in Venice (1954). He is the author of twenty novels, erotic stories, poems and essays. Participant in the First World War.
